Now let's explore 5 beginner friendly yoga poses that can naturally refresh your body and mind. 


 5 YOGA ASANAS TO BOOST YOUR ENERGY


Tadasana for improving posture and balance

1. ⛰ MOUNTAIN POSE (TADASANA)

This asana is a basic asana—it is simple but compelling for improving and grounding posture and increases body awareness and alignment. Calms your mind and increases focus. It also strengthens legs, thighs, and core.

How to do it?

Stand straight with your feet together or hip-width apart. Relax your shoulders, keep your spine straight, and breathe deeply. Hold for 1 minute.


Tip: Practice it early morning after waking up. It's a good way to center yourself before moving into other asanas.

2. 🧒 CHILD POSE (BALASANA): It is a gentle resting posture that helps to relax your back and calms your mind and body. This posture is also beneficial for improving breathing.

How to do it?

Sit on your knees,fold forward, and stretch your arms ahead. Rest your forehead on the mat. Breathe slowly and hold for 30-60 seconds.

3. 🐄 🐈 CAT-COW POSE (MARJARYASANA-BITILASANA): This asana is a gentle yoga flow that is great for stretching; it warms up your spine, improves flexibility, and releases tension from your back and neck. It combines two poses—Marjaryasana (cat) and Bitilasana (cow). Massages internal organs, calms the nervous system, and enhances posture and body awareness.

How to do it?

Start on your head and knees.

On inhale- drop your belly, lift your head(cow)

On exhale- round your spine, tuck your chin(cat)

Repeat 8-10 cycles.


Tip: Flow gently between cat and cow pose to awaken your spine and invite calm energy into your body. Each movement connects the breath and awareness, creating balance and grace within.

4. 🐍 COBRA POSE (BHUJANGASANA): This asana is a powerful asana that opens your chest and strengthens your back. It opens the heart and lungs and stimulates abdominal organs. It also reduces muscles stress and fatigue.

How to do it?

Lie on your belly, keep your palms under your shoulders. Slowly press into your palms to raise your chest, keeping your elbows tucked in. Gaze gently upward and take slow deep breaths. Hold the pose for 15-20 seconds.


Tip: Don't push too hard with your arms-let your back do the work. Keep your shoulders relaxed and breathe slowly to get maximum benefit.

5. 🕊️CORPSE POSE (SHAVASANA): End your practice with peace. True relaxation in shavasana is not sleep—it is a conscious rest. This asana teaches us the art of stillness and helps us connect with our true selves. 

How to do it?

Rest on your back and let your body relax. Close your eyes and breathe naturally. Focus on letting go of worries. Stay for 1-2 minutes.


Tip: Surrender every thought and simply rest in the quiet rhythm of your being.
